We have been supporting the mission work of Jon Straker and Joel Osborne for a number of years. They worked with the church in Sendai for five years (2003 – 2008) after which Jon returned with his wife and son to study at ACU. Joel has been also doing some training in Asia. After the tsunami in March of 2011 Jon and Joel have each been working with relief efforts there.

this Wednesday night at 7pm. He wrote, I’ll be talking about what a church of tsunami victims this summer taught me about salt, light, and the beatitudes. …and what it means for us as we move to the margins.” We hope you can be part of this conversation.
